Beauty Truly Is In The Eye Of The Beholder

So many people think that in order to see true beauty and what this world has to offer you need to travel to the country side or tropical get a away but the truth is beauty is in your own back yard.

This morning I did my normal routine of having my coffee on my deck and just watched the world around me. I could hear the traffic of cars on their morning commute likely going to get their coffee and travel to work but I also really noticed more. Birds were singing their morning songs. I would sing everyday too if I didn’t need to work. Seriously though, I watched flocks of birds fly around and going about their day. As I watched the sun rise into the morning sky I also heard two mourning doves that were quite a distance apart from each other doing their mourning bird calling. The first the one somewhere behind my house and then the other a far distance away. I thought how beautiful that God gave them their voices to sing so loud that even in long distances they could hear each other and speak to each other through song. Nature is truly amazing. Even in my city neighborhood there is so much to see and appreciate. Also thought to myself how freeing it must be to be a bird. They have the ability to go wherever they want, when they want because God gave them he ability to fly. That is their gift.

Just like a bird we each have our gift in the world. Some people have their voice and may sing, Some may be creative and paint and others may be able to have the smarts to run a multi million dollar business.

What I have come to learn is my gift is my written word. Though I speak well sometimes my emotions get in the way to say what I want to say but when I write them down the words flow so freely and I am able to express myself without any limits.

Lesson here to learn is that beauty is everywhere and you just need to look for it and you will find it. Also each of us have a gift that came from God and your purpose in life if you are feeling lost is to learn what your gift is and share it with the world. People may judge you or be jealous of you or even think you are crazy but they also thought Jesus was crazy and rejected him and he is now the most followed creation in the world and a household name.

So forget about the people that are determined to misunderstand you and follow your heart and your dreams and be authentically you. God made only one of you in this world and you are perfect exactly how you are.

So take time each day to really look around and see the beauty in this world and take time to really see the beauty in YOU!
